George Vithoulkas has been teaching full time for the last 10 yrs at his purpose built school - The International Academy of Classical Homoeopathy on the Greek island of Alonissos - where he has lived for over 20 yrs.
The Open Course is an annual 5-day intensive summer school that is usually held at the end of June. It is open to all nationalities but is taught in English. The class is usually around 130 students. It is held at the Academy, situated on a hillside with spectacular views, and has the benefit of the latest equipment and presentation technology. The course is open to all levels of Homoeopathic students but is of a very high standard and quality of information. It is advised, therefore, that you have some experience before attending this course.
The course consists of a mixture of:
| Live Cases | case-taking; analysis; evaluation; prescribing strategies etc |
| Materia Medica | A unique insight into many familiar and unfamiliar remedies. Remedy differentiation. |
| Philosophy | |
| Theory | in-depth insight into the difficulties encountered in Homoeopathic practice. Miasmatic theory and application. |
All teaching over the five days is done by George and the hours are usually usually from 9.30 am until 1pm and then we have a break (whilst it is hot) in the afternoon until 5.30 pm when we start again until 8.30 pm. This gives ample time for lunch, siestas, swimming or enjoying the unspoilt beauty of this Greek island.
A certificate of attendance is given at the end.
Course Fees: £270 (£50 deposit and £220 post-dated cheque for balance)
This does not include accommodation, flights, expenses etc.
